What could be more relaxing than a blissful soak in your own private hot tub, overlooking one of the most beautiful views in Perthshire?
Staring up and losing yourself in a starry sky, gazing into an amazing sunset or submerging yourself in the tub with snowflakes landing on your shoulders – therapy for mind and soul.
Your private hot tub is on the decking patio where you can enjoy the best views of the Tummel Valley
This part of Scotland in one of the most sparsely populated regions of Europe, so our skies have very little light pollution and for most of the year our night skies are full of stars. Last week we saw a shooting star as we enjoyed an evening glass of wine in our hot tub and even the northern lights have been seen occasionally.
In midsummer sunset is at 11pm so you will have to enjoy long sunsets over the mountains instead, and put up with up to 17 hours of sunlight every day.
The health and anti-stress benefits of water treatments are well documented. In Victorian times visitors came to towns like Pitlochry to be hosed and pumelled into health at the hydropathic hotels. Today you can get all those benefits, without the drama, by just relaxing in the bubbles of our hot tubs.
Each of our pine log cabins has its own private hot tub just off the patio deck.
We supply luxury spa robes and slippers for your comfort.
After we introduced out first hot tub in 2011, the demand was so great that we now have a hot tubs with all our log cabins.
I have just returned from my second stay at Kinnaird, last year myself and my husband stayed in the cottage and this year we stayed in one of the wooden lodges. We were greeted warmly by Andy who explained about the hot tub and wood burner and how to work the heating etc which was great. The lodge itself has everything and more that you would need for a relaxing stay here and was extremely comfortable. It was lovely on our last night that it snowed whilst we were in the hot tub and the log burner was lovely to come back into. Very private area and outstanding views. We walked down into Pitlochry on the Saturday morning which was lovely to wander in and out of the little gift shops. We visited the Moulin Inn for dinner on the Saturday night which has great food and good value for money and our initial plan was to go back down for dinner on the Sunday night also but to be honest the lodge was so comfortable we really just wanted to stay in and enjoy the views and luxury of our accomodation. Well done to Andy and Jane for yet again providing us with a wonderful weekend and lovely memories. Would not hesitate to book again. DebbieL987 Trip Advisor reviewer
