This great wee market runs from March to October on the third Saturday in the month from 10am to 2pm.
The regular food stalls offer locally made bread, cheese, wine, sausages, honey and fruit and vegetables. It is a great introduction to the variety of food from Perthshire.
It is also a great place to find really unique, hand crafted, gifts and antiques and chat to the local makers and artisans.
Why not pop along for a fun morning browsing the stalls? You'll find the market on the road to the dam and fish ladder from the west end of town, just under the railway bridge.
The Logierait Country market is about 7 miles south of Kinnaird.
It runs from 10am right to 2pm once a month. The 2018 dates are, April 8th, May 13th, June 10th, July 8th, August 12th, September 9th and October 14th. This is a bit bigger than the Pitlochry market and there is often live music to listen to while you browse or have enjoy morning coffee with freshly made cake.
There are lots of great walks around this area - our favorite is the Granny Pines walk that leads to a view over the valley as the Rivers Tay and Tummel meet - so it makes a good day out with a lunch or evening meal at the Logierait Inn.
The Victorians came to the town to take in the clean air and waters of the region and it became a popular spa destination for wealthy city dwellers.
Pitlochry and Perthshire are the playground of Scotland. Each month sees new activities and adventures becoming available. From gentle woodland strolls to high adrenaline sports Perthshire is the county to do it in.

"Sooo Peaceful" We have just returned from a 3 night stay at Kinnaird lodges, only one fault that it wasn't long enough. The lodges are well equipped with everything that you could possibly need for your stay. The views from the lodge are stunning, after a day out walking there was nothing better than relaxing in the hot tub. Thanks to Yvonne for the warm welcome that we received on our arrival and for showing us around. This was our first visit and hopefully not the last. Lorraine and Ronnie
