How lucky are we to live in such a wonderfully rich natural landscape?
Our resident little red deer makes her nightly appearance in the field in front of Kinnaird Woodland Lodges. Chomping away on the brassicas makes a tasty evening feast.
Next, just as the light is fading, comes Mr Hare - lolloping along without a care in the world.

“Perfect get away spot” 5 of 5 stars Reviewed 10 June 2013 Just back from our second stay in Kinnaird - beautiful well equipped lodges - perfect for a weekend away from the noise! They offer stunning views of the surrounding landscape and are in a perfect location for a bit of sight seeing and hiking. Jane and Andy are very welcoming - perfect hosts Tripadvisor reviewer from Glasgow
I have just returned from my second stay at Kinnaird, last year myself and my husband stayed in the cottage and this year we stayed in one of the wooden lodges. We were greeted warmly by Andy who explained about the hot tub and wood burner and how to work the heating etc which was great. The lodge itself has everything and more that you would need for a relaxing stay here and was extremely comfortable. It was lovely on our last night that it snowed whilst we were in the hot tub and the log burner was lovely to come back into. Very private area and outstanding views. We walked down into Pitlochry on the Saturday morning which was lovely to wander in and out of the little gift shops. We visited the Moulin Inn for dinner on the Saturday night which has great food and good value for money and our initial plan was to go back down for dinner on the Sunday night also but to be honest the lodge was so comfortable we really just wanted to stay in and enjoy the views and luxury of our accomodation. Well done to Andy and Jane for yet again providing us with a wonderful weekend and lovely memories. Would not hesitate to book again. DebbieL987 Trip Advisor reviewer
