Rannoch Station
Rannoch Station is atmospheric, steeped in history and unique countryside reward a winding journey where yourself at the end of the road …and only 20 miles from the west coast! Great views and local walks.
Fort George, Findhorn and Roseisle Beach
Stop for home baking at the Loch Insh water sports centre at Kincraig then carry on up north to Fort George. . From here travel east through Nairn and then carry on to Brodie. Here lies Brodie Castle (National Trust) and Brodies Country Fare. Both worth a visit.
You can then drive on to Findhorn - a magical place - beautiful setting with an interesting 'green' renewable energy village. Then the best part of the trip on a sunny day - Roseisle Beach: 4 miles of golden sand in a lovely cove - feels like the best of the Med.
Inverary
Inverary is a lovely spot to drive out to from Pitlochry. Take a trip through Aberfeldy, Kenmore, Killin, Crianlarich along the Northern shores of Loch Lomond then along the salt water loch of Loch Fyne to arrive at place in a wonderful setting. Visit attractions including Inverary Jail and Inverary Castle.
From here you can head north and make circular trip heading up to Loch Awe and through Fort William.
